IB Diploma at St Peters

A globally recognised academic pathway combining breadth, depth, intellectual rigour and personal development.

IB Diploma

A globally respected senior pathway

The IB Diploma is a two-year senior programme studied alongside the Queensland QCE at St Peters. It combines a broad, rigorous academic curriculum (six subject groups) with three core requirements — Theory of Knowledge, the Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service.

St Peters has been an authorised IB World School for many years, and our IB graduates consistently achieve outstanding results, with recent students earning perfect 45/45 scores.

Curriculum

Six subjects plus the IB Core

IB Diploma students choose six subjects across the IB's six subject groups — three at Higher Level and three at Standard Level — and complete the Theory of Knowledge course, an Extended Essay (independent research project) and the CAS programme over two years.

Outcomes

Recognised at universities worldwide

The IB Diploma is recognised by universities across Australia, the UK, the US, Asia and Europe. IB graduates are well-prepared for tertiary study, and the programme is particularly valued by students considering international study or research-intensive careers.
