Primary Years
A six-year programme that prepares children for everything that follows
The Primary Years (1–6) at St Peters are a critical stage of cognitive, social and emotional development. Our programme combines a strong base in literacy and numeracy with rich inquiry, specialist teaching, and the start of independence.

Academic
Inquiry, literacy and numeracy at the core
The Primary Years curriculum is anchored in literacy and numeracy and extended through inquiry across science, humanities, the arts and Christian Studies. Differentiated teaching and small-group support meet each learner where they are.
Co-curricular
Sport, music and outdoor learning
Primary students access a wide range of sport, music ensembles, instrumental tuition and outdoor learning experiences — including their first overnight camp in Year 5. Co-curricular life is a defining feature of every Primary student's week.
